Frank Lloyd Wright's home, farm, office, and school from 1911 until his death in 1959. 2006- The Taliesin property is treated as five distinct resource areas in the NHL nomination. The AHI uses a similar set of area designations which results in six resource designations. They consist of the following: 1)Taliesin III (AHI# 0027790), Wright's residence on the property. Originally built in 1911, severly damaged by fire in 1914 and again in 1925, today's structure is the third incarnation of the home. 2)Hillside Home School (AHI# 0139058) 3)Midway Farm Buildings (AHI# 0139059) 4)Romeo & Juliet Windmill (AHI# 0139060) 5)Taliesin Dam (this listing) 6)Tan-Y-Deri (AHI# 0139062) |
