Additional Information: | 2023: The Triangle Park Bandstand was constructed in 1924 by the Concrete Products Company of Saukville. The structure is located within Triangle Park, near the western boundary just east of South Mill Street. It is a concrete octagonal structure on a sunken foundation. A flight of eight concrete stairs in located on the east elevation and provides access to the raised bandstand platform. A simple concrete balustrade encircles the octagonal structure. The balustrade features eight regularly set concrete light posts with replacement metal pedestals and globe standards. The partially sunken basement level is accessible via stairwells set on either side of the bandstand entry and features glass-block windows. A plaque dedicated to the Triangle Park Improvement Project of 1985-1987 is located on the northeast elevation. Modern decorative plantings and flowerbeds surround the structure. |
