Additional Information:The first St. Mary's Cemetery was founded in 1854 and at some time in the next twenty or thirty years the cemetery's Webster Street entrance was ornamented with this elaborate cast iron fence. The base block of one of the ornate posts bears the inscription "No. 8" but no makers name or date was found.
