Additional Information: | THICK WALLS - POSSIBLE LOG CABIN In 1898 this house was owned by Ferdinand Butzke and his wife Fredericka. Ferdidand was a farmer born ca 1832 in Prussia, Fredericka was born in Prussia ca 1847. they probably had no children. Albert and Bertha Mueller owned the house in 1909-1910. Albert was born ca 1864 and came to the U.S. in 1892. He worked at the woolen mill. Bertha was born ca 1865, married Albert ca 1887 and came with him to the U.S. She did not speak English and bore three children. In 1923-1935 Ed and Bertha Theilig lived here. Ed was a laborer in the woolen mill who was born in 1859 and came to the U.S. in 1893. Bertha was born in 1857 and came here in 1894. They had two or three children. |
