The Lake Motel is a c. 1950, one-story motel follows the L-plan. The building has a flat roof that projects over room entrances along the entire facade. Groupings of metal poles set at an angle support the deep roof overhang. The nine rooms are situated side-by-side. a large recessed entryway is located near the corner of the "L". Exterior walls are covered with wide=lap composite wood siding. Fenestration consists of three-over0three double-hung sash; one0over-one double-hung sash; and one-beside-one siding sash. A c. 1950 house with a gable-on-hip roof is also located on the property ans serves as the motel office. According to the current (2006) property owner, the motel was built in phases, as reflected in the variety of fenestration. the large recessed doorway near the corner of the "L" indicates that there may have been an integral office at one time.
