CARVED AND MOULDED PEAKED ARCH LINTELSSPINDLEWORK PORCH W/ PEDIMENTED GABLEWOOD SHINGLES AND SUNBURST MOTIF IN FRONT GABLE Tax rolls suggest that this house was built in circa 1884 by William Hoeft. Hoeft was the only undertaker in Thiensville from his arrival in circa 1884 until his apparent retirement in approximately 1905. He was also a wagonmaker and he continued that profession until his death in circa 1910. |
