Additional Information: | July 2005-Sheathed with clapboard, this two-story, gabled ell house is topped with a metal seamed roof. The primary (west) façade include a pair of segmental-arch, two-over-two-light sash windows with raised, wooden heads along the first floor while the upper level carries a replacement, tripartite casement window. Located within the juncture of the ell is a shed-roof porch that has been enclosed with modern windows; a similar porch is located at the rear (east). Remaining fenestration consists largely of segmental-arch openings with raised heads. Assessor's records indicate an 1883 date of construction; however, the earliest known occupant of the residence was insurance agent/traveling salesman William Feuerpfiel and his wife Carrie (1907-08). The next known owner was the Louis Gennrich family (1911-1912), whom had previously resided one house to the south. The Gennrich family remained in possession of the home until at least 1955. The current owner is Peggy Goertz. |
