Additional Information: | 2 two-story rear modern additions. Transom above main entryway. Stone foundation. Outbuildings included concrete stave silo, gabled barn, milk house, 2 sheds. The two-story house is rectangular in form and has a side-gabled roof covered with asphalt shingles. The historic portion of the house is brick and rests on a stone foundation. Windows are predominantly one-over-one double-hung sash with segmental arch lintels. Three-pane elliptical windows pierce each gable end. The rear portion of the house has a pair of two-story gabled additions; both have modern one-over-one double-hung, sash windows and exterior walls clad with vinyl siding. According to the homeowner, a historic summer kitchen was incorporated into the two-story addition closest to the house. |
