DESCRIPTION
The house on this property is a two-story Queen Anne house covered with asphalt siding. It has a steeply-pitched intersecting gable roof, a one-story bay decorated with pilasters, brackets, and iron cresting, and a front porch with an elaborately carved friese, brackets, and thin post. The windows are double-hung sashes. On the upper story these windows are paired. Also on the property is an old log house that has been converted into a garage. The hand-hewn logs are seperated with nogging and the corners are dovetailed. The gable roof is covered with old wooden shingles. In 1986, this house was in poor condition and was used as a garage. In 1990, the roof has caved in, and the house was in ruins. There is a fieldstone-constructed one-story shed with a gable roof and several openings, some of which have been enclosed.

HISTORICAL BACKGROUND
This building group was owned by Henry Junje between 1857 and 1870. It was then owned by Fred Klumb, who probably built the Queen Anne house, between 1873 and 1886. [b]
