BUILT AS SLAUGHTERHOUSE FOR CHRISTOPHER HERBST'S MEAT MARKET [Date Cnst:CA] DEMOLISHED 9/1986. DESCRIPTION This one and one-half story Greek Revival house has a low-pitched gable roof, returned eaves, and clapboard siding. Most windows are single pane double-hung sashes. Across the upper story the windows of the front and rear facades are smaller. HISTORICAL BACKGROUND This house was owned by F. G. Klumb in 1867 and 1873. [a] 2022 - Attempted to resurvey barn by HRL.
