NOTES
Additional Information:Rising from a rusticated masonry foundation, this one and one half story home is topped with what is essentially a side gabled roof that has been cut at either end to accommodate a gabled wall dormer. An open hipped roof porch shelters the primary (west) facade and is composed of square wooden supports and a solid balustrade. The door is situated at the center of the elevation, while a pair of sash windows flank the entry to either side. A gabled wall/roof dormer rises from the roof level and carries a single sash opening. Windows along the remaining facades of the home are largely one over one light sash examples that are singly arranged. Although the house is largely sheathed with asbestos, the primary (west) facade still retains its original clapboard sheathing.

Tax rolls indicate that this house was built by Leroy Lyman between 1886 and 1887. Between 1890 and 1891, the house was sold to farmer Levi Burns (believed to be Lyman's brother-in-law). Levi passed away by no later than 1897 and the house was occupied by his widow Annie and her father George.
