Additional Information: | 2021 - Resurveyed. This two-story, brick, Tudor Revival-style house was built c.1930. It has a concrete foundation, brick exterior, and a cross-gable roof with wood shingling in the gables. Typical of Tudor Revival houses, the roof is steeply pitched with varying ridge heights. The primary (west) elevation has a prominent stone chimney. The stone is repeated on a wall and post framing the central front entrance stoop and supporting a small gabled roof and awning. The front gabled portion of the house projects slightly and includes a three-part bay window with a half-hipped roof. Windows are all shaded by awnings. The side gabled portion of the façade includes an eyebrow roof dormer window. The side (north) elevation is dominated by a projecting gabled bay. An open porch wraps around the northeast corner of the house. Brick piers with concrete caps and tapered wooden piers support the half-hipped porch roof. All windows in the house are vinyl replacements with projecting brick sills and simple brick lintels laid in soldier bond. The roof has been re-sheathed in metal. |
