GREEK REVIVAL ENTRANCE. "One of Cedarburg's oldest hotels, this establishment boasted "first class accommodations, choice wines, liquors and cigars, good stabling and large stock yard." The building is a good example of Greek Revival architecture. Note the entrance and cornice treatments, as well as the round windows on the north and south side of the third floor. The dormers and cream city brick are 1880s embellishments. Made of cut stone, it was restored to its original use in 1984." A Walk Through Yesterday in Cedarburg |
