Additional Information: | A 'site file' titled "Hortonville Downtown Historic District" exists for this property. It contains additional information such as correspondence, newspaper clippings, or historical information. It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, Division of Historic Preservation-Public History. This Twentieth Century Commercial Style building once held an automobile showroom and is now used as a mini-mall containing a variety of mostly retail shops. SANBORN MAPS SHOW THAT THIS BUILDING WAS BUILT BETWEEN 1909 AND 1923. This is a one-story building crowned by a stepped parapet wall and originally featured a large, arched, centrally placed opening which was flanked by two, large display windows. Both the display windows and the entrance have been altered. (2004) |
