| Additional Information: | The Maple View Resort was established between 1939 and 1941 by the Zastrow family. The property consists of the two-story lodge (recently re-sided with cedar siding), nine cabins (six of vertical log and one each of clapboard, drop siding and concrete block) and a two-story garage (with upper rental unit) with an attached fish cleaning house. Following the Zastrows, the next owners were Earl and Vera McPeak who operated the resort for approximately twenty-fice years and it was known as McPeak's Maple View Resort. For the last thirty-five years, the property has been owned by the Osieckis who are from Milwaukee. After they purchased the resort, they developed the parcel to include a trailer park; hence mobile homes are interspersed among the original cabins. |
