Additional Information: | A review of the property's abstract reveals that this property was likely built in circa 1946 after the property was sold by C. Howard and Rosella Olmstead to Adolph and Emma Krug. It then changed hands again in 1956, when the Krugs sold to Kenneth and Dorothy Curler. Joanne Spinner purchased the property in 1978. The property, which consists of the house/office and four cottages (constructed of vertical log), was sold briefly on land contract to the Luchini family and then run again by the Spinners. During their tenure, the Spinners made an addition to the house/office, built a new garage and added three permanent piers to the property. The Spinners then sold to Steve Pappas, the inventor of the Otter Sled, a sled designed for hauling stuff over cie and snow for ice fishing. The decal on the sled was the insignia of the resort. The Pappas family then sold to William and Katherine Landwehr, who have since sold off the four cottages as condo units. |
