Additional Information:Initially surveyed in 2004.

The school opened in 1959 to grades k-8. It contained 22 classrooms, a gym, an auditorium, teacher work rooms, a health room, and music and speech therapy rooms. Initially, a wing of the school houses the Charles E. Broughton Branch of the Mead Public Library. The library was in service until 1974. Remodeling occurred in the mid-1970s and a three-room addition was constructed in 2002.
