NOTES
Additional Information:Additional photo codes: K 17/10, 11. Enclosed front porch causes minor loss of integrity. Very large and impressive local example of the Queen Anne style. Elaborate Queen Anne details including three story tower with chambered sides and tent roof, variety in texture and surface projection, and irregularity in silhouette. The house sits high on its lot, increasing its stately presentation. Was remodeled into apartments c. 1950 by Steven Zulawnik. Other owners include Benjamin Wilson and David and Marilyn Feindt.

"Overlooking the city midway up East Hill, this Queen Anne house wears a square tower with pyramidal roof and indented third-floor windows. Silverthorn was active in banking and lumbering from the 1860s to about 1900." City in the Pinery, A Guide to Wausau's Historic Architecture, The City of Wausau, 1984.
