| Additional Information: | Rising from a rusticated block foundation, this house is topped with a hipped roof. An open porch extends across the primary elevation and features turned supports and a spindled balustrade. Windows throughout the house are generally regular in arrangement and largely one-over-one light, replacement double-hung sashes; however, original four-over-one light sashes remain within the gabled roof dormer. A pair of sliding glass doors are located at the southeast corner and open onto a modern, wooden deck at the rear. A historic photo in the assessors records indicate that this house was previously covered with asphalt shingle siding, has a solid porch balustrade and featured four-over-one light windows throughout. Originally owned by Frank and Marie Liscow, area farmers. The Liscows retained the house into the 1940s, but by that time it was being used as a rental property. |
