Additional Information: | This building was built as the B warehouse for Crocker Chair. It was marked on the building’s north side as building number ten. It's likely the last standing structure from this company. Frank Feingold, bought this building in Crocker Chair’s bankruptcy auction in about 1930. It housed Sheboygan Waste Material Company, Inc. which he founded. This was a recycling business (junk dealer in the day). In 1955 Feingold's son founded Sheboygan Carton Company, Inc, a corrugated box factory, also housed in this building. Alan Feingold sold both companies in 2013. Advanced Disposal (currently being acquired by Waste Management in 2020) purchased the building. From the dates on the sprinkler system (since updated), the building was built around 1904. |
