It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, State Historic Preservation Office. Contemporary & International style building ranging from one to three stories, faced with tan brick, and embellished with limestone accents. Two additions dating from 1967 and 1972. After outgrowing their previous facility, the Y moved to Broughton Drive when the present building was erected in 1953. A 1967 addition housing handball courts, a meeting room, and a senior center was added to the building. A second addition was completed in 1972 to house an Olympic-sized pool. |
