Additional Information: | November 2003-The Colonial Motel was constructed c. 1960. The main building is a side gabled, concrete block structure was paired horizontally divided, two over two windows. The second story is clad in wide gauge artificial siding. The building features decorative gables on the front and rear elevations and a decorative roof vent with a wind vane. A deep eave overhang shelters the second story balcony that encircles the building, providing access to the second story rooms. Exterior stairs are located on the west side of the building and at the northeast corner. A one story ranch style brick building is located off the northeast corner of the main building. The building has a partial second story and rear addition. The motel has over 20 units with exterior entrances, and an outdoor pool that is located off Broadway Street. |
