| Additional Information: | November 2003-This motel complex consists of two c. 1960 buildings with a central parking area. Both buildings are two story hipped structures with a deep eave overhang, clad in wide gauge aluminum siding on the lower level and vertical siding on the upper level. Motel rooms are situated back to back with exterior entrances. Exterior stairs lead to the upper level motel units on both buildings. A deep eave overhang shelters the exterior balcony that wraps around the building, providing access to the units. With the exception of fixed picture windows on the front façade, windows are two over two, horizontally divided, double hung sash. A c. 1900, two story, side gabled building clad in artificial siding with replacement windows is attached to the rear of the easternmost building. This may have originally been a rooming house that was expanded over the years. |
