NOTES
Additional Information:A 'site file' exists for this property. It contains additional information such as correspondence, newspaper clippings, or historical information. It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, Division of Historic Preservation-Public History.

This theater was built as a portion of a larger business block erected by Einar Dahl. Original plans, in possession of the current owner, indicate that the overall building design was drawn by August Wolff, of the Milwaukee firm of Wolff & Ramsthal. As well, revisions to the theater proper are noted as having been done by Kenosha architect Charles O. Augustine. The theater opened to the public in Christmas Day 1927. The last movie was shown in 1985 and the building had been vacant since 1997.
