Additional Information: | This 2-story vernacular house was constructed c.1900 with various phases of construction following (resulting in irregular massing). It is rectangular in plan with clapboard siding and wood shingled and asphalt shingled gable roofs. The front elevation faces northwest and is nearly symmetrical in composition. A 1-story hipped roof porch spans the width of the façade; the porch features cast stone piers that support tapered wood piers at the outside corners. Inside the porch is a single doorway with 1-over-1 windows on each side. A side-gabled mass is located immediately behind the porch; behind this is a larger, front-gabled mass with an intersecting gable on the northeast side. |
