Additional Information:This house contributes to the architectural significance of the proposed Jefferson Avenue Historic District as a good and well preserved example of the Queen Anne style. The house has the irregular form and massing of the style. Its clapboard walls are punctuated with many irregularly shaped openings. The projecting gables are decorate dwith wood shingles and stickwork. A fine circular veranda wraps around the southwest corner of the house. It has turned posts, a spool and spindle frieze and balustrade, and a curved slat apron. The house sits on a cut limestone foundation. A large carriage house sits at the back of the property. It is also well preserved.
