KREUGER, WHO HAD JUST STARTED HORICON'S FIRST CONCRETE BLOCK FACTORY IN A CONCRETE BLOCK BUILDING STILL (2003) LOCATED NEXT DOOR AT 110 E. LAKE ST. THE LATTER BUILDING HAS BEEN GREATLY ALTERED AND WAS NOT SURVEYED. kREUGER'S HOUSE IS NOTABLE BOTH AS AN ADVERTISEMENT FOR KREUGER'S CONCRETE BLOCKS AND BECAUSE ITS ROOF AND FREIZE BAND ARE CLAD IN METAL SHINGLES THAT ARE ORIGINAL TO THE BUILDING. |
