Additional Information: | Lot 5 Blk 40 in the New Butler Plat. August 2003-Standing on a cement block foundation, this two story, side gabled Craftsman inspired house (lot 5 Block 40 of the New Butler plat), is covered in dark green wood-shingle siding, and is topped with asphalt shingles. The front facing façade shows a central pediment topped doorway constructed of metal and glass, which extends above a cement block porch. First floor windows consist of a one over one double hung sash the south of the doorway and a large fixed window to the north. A second story roof dormer on the front façade (blocked by vegetation) holds a pair of one over one vinyl and glass windows. One over one, vinyl and glass, double hung windows continue around the building, and on the additional second story roof dormers on the south façade. A front gabled, one story garage is sheathed with drop siding and is located southwest of the house. The house was built in 1930 by William R. Little according to Assessment rolls. The house was under ownership of Little under the 1950s. Athanasias Katsimpas owned the property until the current owners, the Paul Schultz & Gerald & Ellen Crozier Trust took it over. |
