NOTES
Additional Information:After living in a fairly modest bungalow on Green Bay Road (no longer extant), this house was constructed by A.P. Gilbert in 1937. Gilbert was the president of the Gilbert Shoe Company (located at 228 Elm Street, Thiensville). Within a short period of time, the Gilberts moved and the house was purchased by P. Lewis and Claire Bajus. After the death of her husband, Claire remained in the home until at least 1965.
