Stands high above the sidewalk because it was built before the street was cut through. Built by Charles Domer, a dairy farmer. He also served as the first Treasurer of the Village. The home remained in the Domer family until 1995. It has since been converted into a duplex and serves as rental property.

Behind 1818 E Newton Avenue is the Domer Barn, built in 1888. It was likely used as a hay mow holding feed for cattle.
