| Additional Information: | 2000- "The frame, one-and-a-half story, gable roofed Elder farmhouse displays elements of the Craftsman as well as the bungalow style including exposed rafter ends and knee braces under the eaves, a large gabled dormer and an enclosed porch. This house recently has been altered by the addition of contemporary siding. The Elder bam is a frame basement bam with a gambrel roof and four over four windows in the gambrel ends. Contemporary silos are located along the east side of the bam. The farmhouse was built for the A Elder family in the town of Eagle around 1915." -"Muscoda, Blue River, Boscobel, WI", WisDOT#5190-06-00, Prepared by Joan Rausch (Architectural Resources, Inc.), (2000). |
