NOTES
Additional Information:A one-story, shed-roofed addition was attached to the front and side facades perhaps c. 1920. Two more additions are appended to the side facade: a small flat-roofed section with a concrete block foundation and vertical siding that appears to date from c. 1950; and a large, shed roof addition with vertical siding resting on a concrete slab foundation that looks like it was built c. 1965.

The building probably served as a grain elevator originally, becoming a feed mill by c. 1920. The feed mill was operated by George P. Breitenstein in 1958. A ghost sign on the tower indicates that the Thomas S. Colrud Company, purveyors of Purina chows, later operated the complex.
