| Additional Information: | This farmstead has been in the Roberts family since 1902, when Gale Roberts grandfather Jesse Roberts purchased the property. Land associated with this property/owner became part of the Petenwell Flowage when formed in 1948. When additions were made to the house in 1910, the house was also turned to face the road. A small addition on the south end of encloses the doorway is covered in metal and topped with asphalt (c.1970). And a small rear (east) addition covered with metal and topped with asphalt covers the doorway to the cellar (c.1970). Additional outbuildings include a front-gabled wood barn (c1870); and a machine shed sided with tin(c.1870). |
