NOTES
Additional Information:2020 - This railroad bridge crosses over STH 83 just north of North Lake. The two-span steel deck girder structure was constructed in 1911 and has concrete abutments and a central concrete pier. The bridge is on the former Milwaukee, Sparta & North Western Railway’s 135-mile “Adams Cut Off” between Lindwerm (eight miles north of Milwaukee) and Sparta that was constructed in 1910-1911 and is now operated by Union Pacific Railroad. It was two tracks wide, but the north track has been removed.
