Additional Information: | This house was built in 1897 by Theodore Hartridge or in 1902 by O.T. Monsted. Assessor's records indicate the house was built in 1897 and deeds note that Hartridge was the owner; however, Monsted purchased the property from Hartridge in 1902 and tax rolls did not conclude whether or not the house was extant by 1897. The Bank of North Lake (no longer extant) was organized in this house, when it was under the ownership of Samuel Sleep. After Sleep, it was owned by Dr. F.J. Donnelly and then by Mrs. Gertrude Arndorfer (Donnelly's niece). REC said NE on 12/11/2002. |
