Additional Information: | House has staggered course wood shingles in the gable ends and a stucco-clad foundation. Also has several associated barns and outbuildings behind, some of which are probably date to the early twentieth century or just before. 2017 - This Gabled-Ell vernacular house is cruciform in plan, and clad in wooden clapboards with an asphalt-shingled roof. The gables of the west, south, and east elevations are filled with patterned wood shingles, while the main entrance has been moved to the western elevation of a one-story, shed roofed addition at the northwest corner of the house. A porch in the ell of the west and south wings of the house has been removed, and the former entrance at that location is blocked by an air conditioning unit. Windows throughout appear to be 1-over-1 double hung replacements. |
