Additional Information: | Rubble stone foundation and wood shingles used in the gable ends. Resurveyed October 2012; changes include the reconstruction of the front porch and the addition of vinyl siding. This Two-Story Cube house was constructed c.1900. It is rectangular in plan with a stone foundation, vinyl siding, and an asphalt-shingled hipped roof (with prominent gabled wall dormers centered in each roof slope). The front elevation faces south and is symmetrical in plan with a small entry porch centered at the first story. The entry porch has turned wood supports and a hipped roof with a gabled detail along its front roofline. On either side of the porch is a single-pane window; three 1-over-1 windows are located at the second story of the façade. Decorative patterned shingles are located under each gable. |
