Additional Information: | November 2001- This frame, Front Gable house is clad with clapboards and trimmed with plain corner and cornice boards. It sits on a concrete block foundation and appears to date from c. 1905. Asphalt shingles cover the roof. Most of the original 1/1, double-hung sash windows have been retained, although some 2/2 replacements in reduced openings can be found on the side facades. The flat-roofed front porch looks like a c. 1925 addition. It is enclosed with clapboards and bands of multipane casement windows. A door centered at the second story on the west-facing (front) façade suggests that the house originally had a two-story porch, or a second-story balcony. |
