Additional Information: | November 2001-This American Foursquare house is two stories tall and sits on concrete block foundation. It appears to date from c. 1910. The house is finished with narrow clapboards and trimmed with simple corner and cornice boards. The hip roof is surfaced with asphalt shingles. Double-hung sash in 1/1 configuration are regularly-distributed on each façade. The west-facing (front) façade is symmetrical. The centrally-placed front door is flanked on either side by a cottage window with a leaded-glass header in a lozenge pattern. A hip-roofed porch with Doric columns extends across most of the front-facing façade. A hip-roofed dormer is centered on the front slope of the roof. |
