Additional Information: | November 2001-This one-story, flat-roofed, former filling station appears to have been built c. 1925. It is of concrete block construction, coated with rough stucco, and sits on a concrete slab foundation. Pent roofs surfaced with barrel tile show the influence of the Spanish Colonial Revival style. A shed-roofed canopy covered with barrel tile shelters the pair of doors centered on the front-facing façade. The wood-and-glass doors appear to date from the 1960s. The entrance is flanked by large, segmental-arched window openings. These have been reduced and single-pane replacements have been installed. The gas pumps have been removed. |
