| Additional Information: | September 2001-This two-story, vernacular dwelling was constructed c. 1890. The gabled-ell building has an asphalt-shingled roof and clapboard siding. A modern front porch has a gable roof with wood shingles in its pediment and is supported by four wood posts. The house has one-over-one, double-hung sash windows, as well as single-pane casements. The main façade has two doors with fixed-lights and rectangular panels on the main façade. A one-story, hipped-roof addition, dating to the historic period, extends off of the east façade of the house. To the rear of the house is a large barn (c. 1900) with a standing seam metal, side-gabled roof and vertical board siding. A smaller barn has an asphalt-shingled gable roof and is sided with vertical board and aluminum. |
