Bibliographic References:Assessor's information cites a 1930 date of construction; however, By no later than 1929, the address of the home is cited in the paper as owned by Frank Josephs, "Neighbors and Friends Surprise Frank Josephs," Green Bay Press Gazette, 9 February 1929, page 10. U.S. Federal Census, 1930; City Directory, 1931. "Frank Josephs, 68, Is fatally Stricken," Green Bay Press Gazette, 29 July 1954, page 19. His obit cites that he worked for 32 years at the Hockers Brick & Tile Co., so the house is presumably built with Hockers brick.
