Additional Information: | undated- Main south-facing facade has now been covered in wood shingles, the other elevations are still clad in narrow clapboards. Also, windows on main facade also are now flanked with modern decorative wood shutters. 2001- Believed to be the residence associated with a now-demolished farmstead. Sits on property that comprises the NE corner formed by the intersection of USH 63 and 25 3/4 Avenue. L-plan house, multi-gale roof, shallow overhanging eaves. All elevations except for main facade clad in clapboard. Facade is clad with wood shingles. Most of the 2-over-2-light windows are extant although those on the main facade are equipped with shutters with a cut-out figure of a stylized pine tree. Front porch at the juncture of the ells, now enclosed and clad with wood shingles. House is a typical and unexceptional example of the Gabled ll form that has been altered. |
