Additional Information: | 2011- "This 2-story Gabled Ell house was constructed c.1900. It is irregular in plan with a concrete block foundation, wood clapboard walls, and an asphalt-shingled gabled roof. The front elevation faces north and is asymmetrical in plan with a 1-story, full-width front porch with a flat roof supported by square wooden piers on brick supports. The porch wraps around the northeast corner to the northern fagade of the eastern ell. A modern simple wooden railing runs the perimeter of the porch with an off-center opening for a short flight of steps. The front door is located across from the steps in the north elevation of the eastern ell. Windows throughout the house are 1-over-1 double-hung. A brick chimney protrudes from the center roof peak." -"STH 38/Northwestern Ave/State St", WisDOT #2290-17-00, Prepared by GLARC (Gail Klein), (2011). |
