NOTES
Additional Information:A site file exists for this property. It contains additional information such as correspondence, newspaper clippings, or historical information. It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the State Historical Society, Division of Historic Preservation.

Resurveyed for Milwaukee Downtown Connector Arch/History Survey, SHPO#10-0983, Prepared by Heritage Research (2010).

2010: Constructed in 1966, the five-span, post-and-beam, bascule bridge rests n four concrete piers, the middle two of which are heavier and support the lift apparatus for the central span. The steel grate bridgedeck is supported by steel stringers. Simple metal railings line both sides of the bridge, which is devoid of significant architectural detail.
