Additional Information:Sparr was the accountant for Governor W. H. Upham and was later the owner of the Banner Mills, which he brought from Upham in 1909 and renamed the C. J. Sparr Cereal Mill.

04/29/15: The original clapboard siding is still beneath the stucco that was place don the home prior to 1974.

"This building is typical American Foursquare architecture with a full width enclosed front porch with both first and second story screened porches at the back. In 1909, this home was built by W. H. Upham and purchased by Amos Roll, the first occupant. Charles J. Sparr purchased the house from Roll in 1911... Charles J. Sparr bought Banner Mills and renamed it Sparr's Cereal Mills."
