NOTES
Additional Information:A 'site file' exists for this property. It contains additional information such as correspondence, newspaper clippings, or historical information. It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, Division of Historic Preservation.

Note: the draft nomination credits this building to the Milwaukee architectural firm of Schuchardt & Judell, apparently based on the name that was found on surviving blueprints, but Passante states that the records of the very prominent Milwaukee firm of Brust & Phillip show that this firm actually designed the original portion of this building and also the Columbia Hospital next door (AHI# 106495). This discrepancy is still unresolved.
