NOTES
Additional Information:2023: Resurveyed for the Franklin Street - W. Green Bay Street Residential Historic District DOE. The Frank J. Martin House is a one-and-a-half-story, Front Gable house. It has a rectilinear footprint comprised of the original house and side and rear additions. The house rests on a concrete foundation with walls clad in aluminum siding, covered by a front gabled roof and has replacement windows. A one-story porch nearly spans the façade, supported by simple metal posts. Based on the City of Shawano Sanborn maps, the house originally had a wrap-around porch on the façade and south elevations. This has since been enclosed with an addition. Frank J. Martin was cashier at one of the first financial institutions in the city and contributed to the establishment of other banks in the city.
