NOTES
Additional Information:2011: This former auto garage was constructed in 1929 for Central Chevrolet. The dealership was established in 1924 by Edward O. Christenson, who was born in 1881 in Toland (Dodge County), Wisconsin. He died in 1936. Historic photos indicate that the building featured large, plate-glass windows at its eastern end while those on the western end consisted of multi-light, industrial-style examples. Ed's son, Dean Christenson, took over the dealership after World War II; however, in 1952, he died at the age of twenty-eight due to polio. The dealership soon became known as Leach Motors, Inc., which sold Buicks. Since 1970, the building has been the home of Schnorenberg Floor Covering.
