Additional Information: | "A 'site file' exists for this property. It contains additional information such as correspondence, newspaper clippings, or historical information. It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, State Historic Preservation Office. 2023- resurveyed as part of Milwaukee Houses of Worship thematic survey. The main body of the church was completed in 1967 after designs by architect Henry Slaby. Slaby also designed the carillon (completed 1974) and additions to the side entrance (1981). Complex also includes combination church-school building (AHI #119289, built in 1928 with multiple later additions), rectory (AHI #119290, built in 1958 and also designed by Slaby), and monastery (AHI #119291)." |
